Prime Buchholz Supports 2025 Turkey Trot 5K and GatherNH Food Drive
Nov 19, 2025
Back to all posts. At Prime Buchholz, community involvement has always been woven into our culture — but we’ll admit, it’s not every day that it involves a giant turkey strutting through the office. Recently, Tom the Turkey from the Portsmouth Rotary stopped by to help us gear up for the annual Turkey Trot 5K, bringing plenty of feathered enthusiasm (and a few laughs) with him.
The Turkey Trot, for which Prime Buchholz is a sponsor, supports two organizations doing meaningful work in our region:
- Bridging The Gap, which helps marginalized individuals on the Seacoast access essential resources and build stability.
- Hospice Health Foundation, dedicated to easing financial burdens for hospice patients and their families when they need it most.
Tom wasn’t our only visitor — our own Carrot mascot (Jonathan Crafts, Sr. Director – Research) made an appearance as well, proving that root vegetables and poultry are indeed a perfect pair while raising awareness of the Pease ‘n Carrots food drive by GatherNH.
As a longstanding supporter of the food drive, we join with businesses across the area in a friendly competition to see which can collect the most food and funds to help GatherNH provide fresh groceries and nutritious meals to families across the Seacoast.
In addition to Tom the Turkey and the Fiesty Carrot are, from left to right in the photo, Courtney E. Silva (Principal/Accounting Administrator), Kryssa Lambert (Business Operations Manager), Desiree Crossley (Sr. Marketing & Communications Associate), and Jamie Gilman (Senior Documentation Specialist).
These efforts remind us why we stay committed to the communities where we live, work, and where our clients create lasting impact. Supporting local organizations isn’t an initiative for us; it’s part of who we are.
Here’s to community, connection, and a little lighthearted fun along the way.
